  would you date this guy???

  about 2 weeks ago i met a guy online, we chatted on the phone one evening and had a good conversation and aranged to go on a date this friday coming.. since then i have heard almost nothing at all from him!

  i think about 2 texts and thats it!

  in one of the texts he hints that he would like to see a picture of me "wearing alot less".

  Highdose......if he was seriously attracted, I would think you would have gotten more communication in that 2 week span. (texts, calls, e-mail) I would think he would want to make a quick connection with you before somebody else does. The "picture of you wearing less" is just a test of your boundry. (he's a guy) Whether you send it is up to you, but sounds like you are not going to do it. Be comfortable being ourself and the right guy will come along.

  I can't remember how long ago you left JW's, but I think I remember something about just getting off the meds. Last thing you need is a bad relationship to go along with JW withdraw.

  i sent my son a link to the thread about facebook sex because i thought it was so funny ..... today he sent me an email and told me he has joined the forum !!

  i haven't told him my name on here yet, i want him to see if he can figure it out first .. .

  Your worst field service experience.

  my worst field service experience was this.. i didn't have a car at the time and so a pioneer sister was picking me up of service every couple of days.

  she was my partner and i got a door where the woman was clearly not interested.

  as i am stepping away the pioneer sister starts in with all the objection stoppers.

  Think About It

  I thought of something you might find interesting. This wasn't bad, just different. I had my introduction with an old man through a screen door. I really couldn't see his face. He ended up being some kind of preacher. About the time I mentioned reading some of the literature he opend the screen door and he had no eyes in his sockets!

  Think About It

  I've thought about this and really can't think of a really bad experience. Had the normal irate nuts, preachers, dogs, elements, etc., but I actually didn't mind FS. I was good at it and people loved being with me in FS. My approach was to be a normal person and to use the Bible as the basis of the discussion, then an offer of literature was made in the conclusion. I was in a postion to lead FS through the weekdays and had fun being with different ones. I especially liked having the older sisters in my car. I loved looking after them and making them feel young. It's not for everyone, but I was always outgoing and liked it.

  There was this one self-righteous, over-bearing, pulled-out-of-Brooklyn's-ass, theocratic clone, young elder who proceeded to come over my house to "discuss" some things.

  This ended up in him talking about some "crap" which I considered conscience and personal matters.

  He actually started raising his voice and pounding his fist on my table.

  I proceed to kick him out of my house. Then I gave him the option of continuing the "discussion" in the yard.

  What's funny is....I was the swing vote that got this a**hole appointed!

  I remember thinking, after he was appointed and I seen how he was going to be.....I've created a monster!

  so it appears that jws are letting their freaky side come out on fb for everyone to see.. there was talk on the ca yesterday strongly warning all true lovers of jehovah to delete their fb accounts.

  the talk was solely about fb.

  the speaker mentioned that jws are associating with people that would not associate with in real life, often using the excuse that the person is a relative.

  Since this FB sex stuff involves typing.....the condom goes over the keyboard.

  That could also save your keyboard from uncontrolled laughter while drinking liquids.

  Who knows what they think in Brooklyn.

  All I know....it was never enough to be a leader in the cong, give good public talks, be zealous in FS and support the org.

  Chasing around this kind of nonsense is what would wear you down. I hated that part of it, because I really didn't agree with being too intrusive in people's private lives.
